Religious Education

At Allen Avenue the children, youth and their families are an integral part of our beloved community

Children are welcome participants in worship services and throughout church life.  At the 9 am Sunday service there is a time of shared worship at the beginning of each service, followed by a singing the children out to their classes.  Our classes build connections between children, their peers, and adult leaders in the congregation

In Religious Education (RE) everyone explores, learns and grows together!!!

Throughout their time in our RE program, children will explore:

  • Unitarian Universalism identity & theology
  • Unitarian Universalism's Christian & Jewish heritage
  • World faiths
  • Relationships and Sexuality Education in our Faith
  • Social justice
  • Environmental sustainability
In addition, we offer many other ways for families to be connected and involved. We hope that your family will consider visiting our church to see if our community feels like the right spiritual home for you.
