Church library receives new donations

If you haven’t visited our church library recently, we urge you to do so after church on Sunday. We have beautiful shelves built by Ted Green, who with his wife Hillary, has recently donated books for our collection. We have many books on Unitarian-Universalism, which are especially useful for new or prospective members.

Among the sections on the shelves are: Environment, Justice, Gender, War and Peace. We have a copy of Rev. Myke’s book, Finding Our Way Home and Bryan Stevenson’s book Just Mercy, about Black prisoners on death row. Two older books are currently relevant: MoveOn’s 50 Ways To Love Your Country and Wealth and Our Commonwealth: Why America Should Tax Accumulated Fortunes, by William Gates, Sr. and Chuck Collins.
