As we navigate snow flurries and chilly days, let your imagination leap to May 3rd–5th and our oceanfront All-Church Ferry Beach Retreat weekend in Saco. Retreat registration packets will be available during coffee hour in March. Because of new requirements, our deadline is Sunday, March 31st, with no late registrations accepted. Registration opens March 3.

There is a new beach access off Morris Avenue, designed to let us walk gently on the earth and preserve the dunes, which aligns with our Retreat theme of “We’ll Build A Land.” Dorm spaces have changed, with most Quillen bedrooms converted from bunks to queens. To compensate for lost bed space we must rent higher priced cottages on campus, and will work diligently to give everyone a suitable room, on a first-come, first-served basis. Commuting options are available if you can’t spend the weekend on campus.

As we’re ‘thinking spring,’ consider these retreat offerings: Sing-Along, Photography, Birding, Rock Painting, Kids Nature Walk, Green Dot Bystander Training, Pickup Choir, Worship, Life Energy Audit, Escape Room Challenge, Kids Skit (by Clara Bolduc), Derby Hat-Making, Ferry Beach History Walking Tour and Creative Writing & Poetry.

We’ll also have our Variety Show aka Talent/No Talent Show, music-jamming, singing, face-painting, fairy houses, beach-strolling, porch- rocking, playground fun, games, puzzles, fireside chats, and, always, ice cream.
