Barb Murray and Mike Luce will once again be co-facilitating these conversations from the radio podcasts of Krista Tippett’s “On Being” online project. We will be hosting them the first and third Sundays of each month.
The is Sunday we will discuss “The Long Experiment of American Democracy” with Steven Waldman and Philip Hamburger. (Hamburgers not provided…heh.heh).
This episode provides a refreshing reality check about the long road of American Democracy. As Waldman states: “We got a lot wrong before we started to get things right. And it really was as a result of many years of kind of botched experiments and horrible persecution that we collectively started to learn another way.”
