NURSERY CAREGIVER
Position available for Sept 2011 – June 2012
We are seeking adults or mature teenagers to care for our congregants' small children (0-3) on Sunday mornings. Our "baby ministry” allows parents to participate in worship and gives children their first positive experience of church.
Caregivers must be attentive to children's needs, able to engage them in play, and to comfort them as needed. No diaper-changing or feeding is involved. Some prior experience with children under 3 is required (for example, caring for one's own children/grandchildren/siblings, or babysitting). Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Caregivers work in a team of two, Sunday mornings from 8:45 am – 12:30 pm, with a 45 minute break between services. Payment is $30 per person per morning, with checks issued at the end of each month. We are also open to employing A2U2 congregants who would like to care for children during one service and attend the other, for a payment of $15 per morning.
