Reverend Myke Johnson
We invite you to read more about Reverend Myke! She is available in her office on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m from September through June. Please feel free to make an appointment to chat during these hours. You can speak to her by phoning the church office at (207)797-7240, ext. 13, or by email at any time. Barb Koumjian, Director of Religious Education
Barb joined our church in August, 2011. She has many years of UU experience in New Hampshire, where she led RE groups and created RE curricula before serving as an interim DRE.
She was a church administrator for nine years, served as a national board officer for the Association of UU Administrators, and as the President of the UU Wormen's Federation of the NH/VT District. Barb believes in lifelong education, and is currently completing her Masters degree in Adult and Higher Education at USM. She can be reached by email.
Dale Churchill, Director of Music
Dale is usually available at church on Thursday afternoons and evenings (when he conducts choir rehearsal) from September until late June. He can always be reached by email if you have questions. You can read more about Dale and our music program!
Lesley M. Jones, Church Administrator
Lesley was born and raised in Maine. With a degree in Media Studies and Communications her work experiences include The Community Television Network (Ch. 5), TimeBanks USA, Hour Exchange Portland, AmeriCorps VISTA and the Time Gallery. In addition she is a multi-media artist, exploring the interconnectedness between art, play, health, nature and spirituality. She lives in Portland with her husband, David B. Laura Burden, Membership Coordinator
Laura offers a warm welcome to our visitors, and helps everyone to find their "niche" in church activities and projects. She works with our Members & Friends committee to help new members feel like they are part of our warm and welcoming community. Laura is at church on Sunday mornings from September until late June, and can also be reached by leaving a message for her at the church office, 797-7240, ext. 14, or by
email during the regular church year. She is off duty during July and August, but you can find out more about membership by emailing the
Pastoral Care Team during those months.
Steve Zimmerman, Sexton (custodian)
Steve is on duty part-time throughout the year. His work schedule varies, according to building use and needs, maintenance projects and rentals. He can be contacted by leaving a message at the church office or by
email.
Note: Most of our staff take some time off in the summer, and our church office has limited summer hours. However, phone and email messages are checked regularly.
