Flower Communion Sunday

You’re invited to worship this Sunday, June 16, for a single service at 10 a.m. This is our Flower Communion Sunday, a delightful ritual of giving and receiving, and Rev. Anita shares this thought for contemplation: “All of us need all of us to make it.” -Rev. Theresa Ines Soto
For the Flower Communion, you’re invited to bring a flower to contribute, creating a large bouquet of various flowers to beautify our worship. When we leave, you’re invited to take a flower different from the one you contributed and bring it home. Thus do we represent all the ways in which we contribute to and receive from our beloved congregation — something important to remember through the summer months when we are often scattered.
We will have a small supply of extra flowers for those of us who forget. We hope to see you there!
