Join us for the largest annual gathering of UUs joining in worship. This powerful, communal worship experience will stream on the UUA website at noon Eastern, but we have received permission to present this at our usual 10 a.m. time slot, via Zoom. Here is the link.
Recognizing the importance of shared ministry and the many innovative approaches to worship created by congregations during the pandemic, UUA President, Rev. Dr. Susan Frederick-Gray, selected the First Universalist Church of Minneapolis to serve as worship leaders for this year’s GA Sunday Morning Service. Members of the public are welcome to view the service. The worship service will include a collection for the MICAH (Milwaukee Inner-city Congregations Allied for Hope).
You can download the Order of Service here.
First Universalist has been a model of shared ministry and what it means to put the work of dismantling white supremacy and building anti-racist, anti-oppressive practices at the center of their ministry. Their leadership exemplifies some of the best practices for the creativity, spiritual depth, and moral leadership that is possible when we embrace the work of shared ministry rooted in love and justice.
Viewing of the service will be followed by our usual coffee and conversation. Note that these services tend to run a bit long, so coffee hour may start later than usual. Here is the link to the conversation.
