Noel and Rodney will share songs they have written about some of their life experiences which reflect UU values, actions, and aspirations.
Noel is a long-time member of A2U2, and has been a Physician Assistant for over 40 years. She has worked in primary care for Mercy in Portland and Windham for over 25 years. She has sung and played guitar for most of her life, focusing on Americana music. In today’s service she will share a few songs she has written about her experiences as a Physician Assistant, and as a grandmother.
Rodney is a singer/songwriter guitarist, flautist now based in Biddeford, Maine. Born in New Orleans, raised in rural Louisiana and educated in New England, Rodney has been touching hearts for decades with his soulful music. He has entertained many groups, including in multiple UU churches, with his original lyrics that reflect his unique history. He describes his music as “Acoustic Soul-Music for and from the heart.”
Noel and Rodney have enjoyed presenting their music together for the past 10 years.
