The Road of Life Isn’t Straight, but Still We Are Guided On

Greetings, all!

Blessings to you as we begin this new year. I hope your holidays have been restful and full of connection, and chag urim sameach to those lighting the final candle of Hanukkah this evening.

I am on break and return this Sunday for worship and then will resume my regular schedule and catch up on emails from this past week beginning on Tuesday, January 7th. Thank you for your patience. I’m looking forward to seeing you!

I hope you will join on Sunday for our 3rd annual all-ages Epiphany service, where we tell the story of the three wisemen/magi following the star to Bethlehem and bringing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. We’ll reflect on the ways in which the road of life isn’t straight, but still we are guided on.

Everyone (in person and on Zoom) will receive a Star Word at the end of the service to guide them into this new year. So you don’t want to miss it!

2025 is sure to bring plenty of challenges to our nation and world. We will be tested. That I am sure of. I’m also sure we will meet the moment with strength, faith, and deep love. Even laughter. I enter the new year with such gratitude to travel forward in ministry by your side.

See you soon, dear ones.

In faith,

Rev. Tara
