We’re back! And we hope to make this year’s event both festive and fun!

Artisans

Here’s how this works:  people who love to make things—whether that means a special baklava, pies, paintings, needlecraft, poetry, photography—anything creative—donate their time and talent to produce wonderful products that we can display and sell.

You can have an entire table for yourself, or if you only have a few items, you can combine with others at our Fiber Arts, Classy Crafts or Fine Foods tables. Because this is a fundraiser as well as a “fun” raiser, we do ask that our artisans donate their wares. We have begun signing up all kinds of Artisans:  photographers, woodworkers, potters, crafters, knitters, crocheters, quilters, food crafters and more. Please contact the coordinators of group display areas for more information.

Fiber Arts

This area will feature anything made from any kind of fiber—knitted, crocheted, sewn, felted, cross-stitched, etc. Coordinated by Sue Malcolm and Suzanne Federer

Classy Crafts

This area is for all kinds of handmade items that don’t fit into the Fiber Arts area! Examples might include jewelry, stained glass, suncatchers, ornaments, plants, ceramics and more! This area still needs a coordinator!

Fine Foods

This area is for all kinds of gorgeous homemade goodies. We have had candies, special cookies or cakes wrapped in cute boxes or bags (think biscotti, or baklava), jellies, jams, preserves or marmalade, fudge, pickled anything, sauces, pies, cakes, and more! Wrapped up and ready for giving. Coordinated by John Howard

Café

We will also be having a Café for delectables to be consumed on the spot or brought home for treats! These will include hot and cold drinks, breakfast items, sandwiches or other hand-held lunch items and of course, many desserts. If you love to cook, bake, prepare or set up food, WE NEED YOU! Coordinated by Cathy Rasco

Children’s Crafts

Love kids? We are planning a Children’s Holiday Crafts room where kids can make simple crafts and then decorate gift bags to pack them in. We are hoping to enlist middle and high school kids as well as adults to help. Parents will be able to leave their kids and shop in the building. If you have ideas for these and/or would love to help, WE NEED YOU! Coordinated by Crystal Cooper

Theme Baskets

Not a maker but still want to donate? We are having a Theme Basket Raffle! Make up a beautiful basket full of goodies to make someone’s day. Some previous themes have been Music for Children, Family Movie Night, Spa Day, Cat Goodies, Dog Goodies, Baby Goodies, Science and Nature—anything you can think of! Customers will purchase raffle tickets that can be placed in containers next to each basket. The winners will be drawn at the end of the Market—no need to be present to win! Coordinated by Denise Curry

Finally…we are happily accepting volunteers for money collection, greeting, setup, cleanup and general help! And most of all—SHOPPERS!! Please spread the word!

Have a place you think would like to hear about this? Please contact our Publicity Coordinator, Emily O’Neill
