Wednesday, October 10th at 7:00 in the Sanctuary at A2U2. Please come and bring your ideas.

While the Holiday Fair has long been a cherished part of community building and fundraising at A2U2, no one has come forward to say they are able and willing to lead it this year.

Some are reluctant to see the Fair discontinued. Others have let us know that they think it’s time to move on and try other types of fundraising events. We’ve heard lots of interesting ideas for what those events might be.

Whether or not we decide to go ahead with some form of a Holiday Fair, we want to start generating new ideas for events that would not only help us raise funds, but would also help us build community and have fun!  If we decide that we do want to have a fundraising event focused on the holidays, then part of our discussion will be how to streamline it  to make it less labor-intensive.

We hope to see you Wednesday evening. If you are unable to attend but have ideas you want to share, please send them to Ann Packard before the meeting; we will make sure they’re part of the discussion.
