As a lifelong science fiction reader, Naneen enjoys the genre not only for the warnings from dystopian novels (Octavia Butler and Margaret Atwood) but for the writers of hope punk that show an optimistic future based on humanity collaborating on solutions for climate change and other global issues. The first science fiction novel she read that changed her thinking was Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land and from it the knowledge that Thou Art God. which means if we are god – we can impact the world around us.
This will be a single indoor service at 10 AM.
Masks are now optional, but encouraged.
