The Underground Railroad, Then and Now

This service will explore the Underground Railroad through slave songs, quilt patterns and modern day refugees and their similar plight and their travel to freedom. This on the heels of Juneteenth.

Celeste Stickney is a retired Dental Hygienist, and two-year member of A2U2. She was introduced to the Underground Railroad and Slave Song Project by Jim Thomas, a member of her former congregation on Martha’s Vineyard.

This will be a single indoor service at 10 AM.

Masks are now optional, but encouraged.
