A2U2 friends,

You’ve already received a LOT of words from me this week (mostly about the UU Article 2 and Principles changes) so I’ll be brief.  Mostly I just want to celebrate with you… Spring is here! Hallelujah!

Our Pagan group is hosting a ritual for Ostara, the arrival of spring, on Sunday evening @ 7 around the outdoor fire pit at A2U2. All are welcome!!

I’ve been enjoying the warmer days this week and have been delighted by the crocus flowers popping up outside the church (one pictured below) and in my neighborhood. This season, whose threshold at which we find ourselves, invites us to reflect on rebirth, resurrection, and renewal. I look forward to doing so with you in worship!

On April 2nd we’ll celebrate Palm Sunday and reflect on Jesus as a radical prophet of justice whose teachings invite us to RENEW our own commitments to resist hate. April 9th is Easter, complicated for many UUs! But rich with potential, too. We’ll wonder together about what it means to be a people who RISE. And on April 16th, we will celebrate the power of choosing JOY, even when life is at its hardest.
