Introducing Beau Rivers and Molly Brewer, Ministerial Candidates

 According to Unitarian Universalist policy, only UU congregations have the authority to ordain UU ministers.  A2U2 has been honored with requests from two candidates, who have received Preliminary Fellowship from the Ministerial Fellowship Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Association, asking our Congregation to ordain them.  A special congregational meeting will be held Sunday, December 8, at 10:30 AM to consider these requests.

Molly Brewer has asked us to co-ordain her, along with the First Universalist Church of Auburn where she served her internship. She would like her ordination to be held in the Auburn church in mid-February. Molly has been an active member of A2U2 for several years; many of you will remember her speaking in the pulpit as part of the Worship Committee or at a summer service.

Beau Rivers has asked us to co-ordain her, along with the Unitarian Universalist Church of Worcester, MA, where she served her internship.  She would like her ordination to be held at A2U2, sometime in March.  Beau conducted our Sunday services at A2U2 on November 10, 2019; a recording of that service is available on our website.
